<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I am so excited to be the guest designer over at <a href="http://prettypaperprettyribbons.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons</a> today. I made this Laughing Shamrock Card using the <a href="http://www.prettypapergraphics.com/item_233/Shamrock-Faces-Cutting-Files.htm" target="_blank">Shamrock Cutting files</a> from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. I used my wonderful Cameo Silhouette to cut out the laughing face.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOy4IvsDe6z8A0Ar1BMQcwU3Qn0EPo_mOl-RAEVFB_bKBi4LFkQCPIcM31vr00okMgCSjtj7bDovDLf9gh-nFRUj3zsmsQn411gPOYpQ0Bl9zu4jIpP4Fz2oDsogiI7zRXiOZOMXCvHtg/s1600/8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOy4IvsDe6z8A0Ar1BMQcwU3Qn0EPo_mOl-RAEVFB_bKBi4LFkQCPIcM31vr00okMgCSjtj7bDovDLf9gh-nFRUj3zsmsQn411gPOYpQ0Bl9zu4jIpP4Fz2oDsogiI7zRXiOZOMXCvHtg/s640/8.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
I used Pebbles Shimmering chalks to shimmer the whole shamrock and the cheeks. Also used a sparkle gold gel pent to add some doodles on the edges. I added some black eyelashes to her eyes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I found some gold shimmer ribbon in my shash for the bow. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. <br />

I made this adorable baby elephant card with a paper piecing file from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. It is from the Zoo Safari Collection. I cut everything out on my Silhouette Cameo!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5vrHD813GF4okg4a4xHYD1jOXkyXpKKyTlC6FiPG07levfbBzelACk651GLzaKCATlAWloWFISoycpvPwBvuTKyoZDg5J5Yl3gPYU2XEDv22i98hqqea42W_ChugOOVLmB49nb286W7Y/s1600/21.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5vrHD813GF4okg4a4xHYD1jOXkyXpKKyTlC6FiPG07levfbBzelACk651GLzaKCATlAWloWFISoycpvPwBvuTKyoZDg5J5Yl3gPYU2XEDv22i98hqqea42W_ChugOOVLmB49nb286W7Y/s640/21.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Here is a close up of the adorable elephant!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuVU4Y2r_Y6eJQmrFKVI2RuroIGWM-FLv9SlFhPzAC9hr1hPHQKfvBWgVhOc7xszlS3eWJop1iYyZlduNt6qcFL7YW2trMVTrOjIaLQwIapL6d0QnMRwwG3uDb8_EKTFM3eKE8x_rte2k/s1600/18.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuVU4Y2r_Y6eJQmrFKVI2RuroIGWM-FLv9SlFhPzAC9hr1hPHQKfvBWgVhOc7xszlS3eWJop1iYyZlduNt6qcFL7YW2trMVTrOjIaLQwIapL6d0QnMRwwG3uDb8_EKTFM3eKE8x_rte2k/s640/18.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
I added dimension adhesive to the tag, elephant, and lacy circle. The sentiment is from My Creative Time Teeny Tag Greetings.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPDbINYo7EUI1JrDClvjaLoc2Pu_ZUaxNDbVIKkfY1SpF8xtbrTpCr76eXleQP5DFcCfm02WuMU6gbqg8DKTpYjs_alBWLsGwHExxdwkTiF0aRT9hdfnzTko0mnjJKOXv2TVAM-VgEe80/s1600/19.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPDbINYo7EUI1JrDClvjaLoc2Pu_ZUaxNDbVIKkfY1SpF8xtbrTpCr76eXleQP5DFcCfm02WuMU6gbqg8DKTpYjs_alBWLsGwHExxdwkTiF0aRT9hdfnzTko0mnjJKOXv2TVAM-VgEe80/s640/19.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
I used Pebbles Inc. Shimmers chalk all over the entire card. It is SOOOO adorable in person. You can see on the bottom of the elephant. This is what the entire card looks like!! I am so super happy with how this card turned out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I know that Valentine's Day is over, but I just purchased this CUTE little bee cut file from <a href="http://www.papercraftingworld.com/" target="_blank">Paper Crafting World</a> and I wanted to give it a try. And I found a challenge blog that I wanted to do and it was for a love tag so this was perfect!! The blog is <a href="http://cameocreationschallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Cameo Creations</a> for the challenge. I attached the cute bee tag to a tube of gumballs. This would have been perfect for a Valentine's Day treat. I cut this on my Silhouette Cameo. When I imported the cut file into Silhouette Designer Studio I made an offset of the whole design BEFORE pulling away the different layers. This made the base of the tag.<br />

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! I made a cut elephant Valentine box for one of my girls. The box file was purchased from the Silhouette store and the elephant paper piecing file is from <a href="http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/" target="_blank">Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.</a> I filled the box with Reeses cups.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKVmzKrdNB8_80095HvADYK3-1l3xXCmyMonlRKKDvySWX2ncXXXVI68G6e5M4EBLB30uUPj3A8hdLp8-pOA06uJAp9WyNzbALZes-PU2S9mEEfaQieY70aAcr5ypSFXmzwsM34SfhZb8/s1600/0.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKVmzKrdNB8_80095HvADYK3-1l3xXCmyMonlRKKDvySWX2ncXXXVI68G6e5M4EBLB30uUPj3A8hdLp8-pOA06uJAp9WyNzbALZes-PU2S9mEEfaQieY70aAcr5ypSFXmzwsM34SfhZb8/s640/0.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
This box was so easy to put together. The Silhouette store boxes are the best and easiest to put together. The sentiment is from My Creative Time Teeny Tag Greetings and was stamped with Stampin Up Melon Mambo ink. Pattern paper is from Studio G.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I wanted to share this cute little money holder I made for my daughters birthday. She LOVES peace signs. This project was so simple to put together. I purchased this money holder file from the Silhouette store and cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE)!!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoPZzbIubXV_9jAQWz4xRopbbB2AwJpLr9ybZ0zrqQnmjZewMQX84vZ91isD_cLxfYALKxP3GhsnAyYNuVhB-uFFHXgtYxeqWqJ6ksEQrz9WgWC80mKNajQa0wlduHD2PJocaJp9xDNvE/s1600/69.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoPZzbIubXV_9jAQWz4xRopbbB2AwJpLr9ybZ0zrqQnmjZewMQX84vZ91isD_cLxfYALKxP3GhsnAyYNuVhB-uFFHXgtYxeqWqJ6ksEQrz9WgWC80mKNajQa0wlduHD2PJocaJp9xDNvE/s640/69.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I also used a label cut from the Silhouette store and just adjusted it to fit the front of the box. I did an offset for the shadow and choose the print and cut feature for the sentiment and stitched lines. (LOVE this feature). <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipr-A4EzW7PigQHupmtPOH3colsPoOjZYhoy1syaVRzCpljL2CxOuWyLeSKOUgr2rQu4wJ-Thi3YJWwOWspBcu11xRj6InI0gmYQFmcCCLDdrBpaWTaNmrdsgjFwN3xGePv8UH3SyEE-Q/s1600/65.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipr-A4EzW7PigQHupmtPOH3colsPoOjZYhoy1syaVRzCpljL2CxOuWyLeSKOUgr2rQu4wJ-Thi3YJWwOWspBcu11xRj6InI0gmYQFmcCCLDdrBpaWTaNmrdsgjFwN3xGePv8UH3SyEE-Q/s640/65.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

I didn't have a peace sign cut file so I googled clip art peace signs and used the trace feature in Silhouette Studio (LOVE this feature as well). Then I cut peace signs out of white cardstock and colored them with my Stampin Up markers to match the colors of the patterned paper. <br />

I made another gift/treat bag today that I want to share with you. I LOVE using treat bags during the holidays for giving candy and treats.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://media-cache-ec4.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440801274_szZF33Rg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://media-cache-ec4.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440801274_szZF33Rg.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I used my Silhouette Cameo and cut the adorable bunny from <a href="http://www.scrappingbugdesigns.com/" target="_blank">Scrapping Bug Designs</a> "will you be mine" files. I didn't put eyelashes on the bunny at first. I was too scared!! I used to do eyelashes on bears a long time ago. I need practice. In the last photo the bunny has eyelashes. I went a bit overboard with eyelashes (ok a lot overboard). I promise to practice and get better. Isn't it funny how you can spend so much time putting together these paper pieces to only screw it up at the very end!! That is why I took pictures before doing the eyelashes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://media-cache-ec6.pinterest.com/originals/c0/e1/09/c0e109765b701e9f7c3bba40d18fbbb6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://media-cache-ec6.pinterest.com/originals/c0/e1/09/c0e109765b701e9f7c3bba40d18fbbb6.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<br />
I cut the heart border using a free file from <a href="http://www.birdscards.com/" target="_blank">Birds Cards Designs.</a> I LOVE this website for free cutting files. The sentiment if from My Creative Time 100% Sweetness stamp set.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://media-cache-ec5.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440801303_q8N20L6h.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://media-cache-ec5.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440801303_q8N20L6h.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by and happy crafting!!!CarolynGhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17514870161710823521noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4919866172731217420.post-44677526534963277442013-01-17T05:21:00.000-06:002013-01-17T05:21:12.664-06:00Be Mine Treat Bag Hi Everyone! I have another Valentine treat bag for you. This bag is a cutting file from the Silhouette store. Click <a href="http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/php/?page=view-shape&id=36567" target="_blank">Here</a> to purchase the file. I wanted another simple project so I cut the file out of white cardstock. I cut the inner shadow piece from red cardstock. I LOVE how this turned out!!<br />
<br />
This bag has an attached tag. I used My Creative Time Teeny Tag Greeting for the tag, but you could easily find a tag from the Silhouette store. The bag, heart border, and the hearts on the bottom of the bag were all cut using my cameo.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://media-cache-lt0.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440755985_xJbticuS.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://media-cache-lt0.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440755985_xJbticuS.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
I cut the hearts from plain red cardstock and used a Stampin Up dotted background stamp with VersaMark ink pad to get the dots. This is my favorite technique to achieve the look of patterned paper. The ribbon was purchased from Michael's years ago.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://media-cache-lt0.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440755982_FGq3Gj9N.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://media-cache-lt0.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440755982_FGq3Gj9N.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
This bag is WITHOUT the tag.. Just wanted to show you how it looks without the sentiment tag.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://media-cache-ec3.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440755979_r1KeXjKr.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://media-cache-ec3.pinterest.com/upload/18507048440755979_r1KeXjKr.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
I am entering this treat bag into the <a href="http://reasonableribbon.blogspot.com/2013/01/rrr-challenge-64-valentines-daylove.html" target="_blank">Really Reasonable Ribbon</a> challenge!!<br />

This gift bag is sooo super easy and I used my new Silhouette Cameo for this project. I am loving the cameo!!<br />
<br />
For this project, I used a red gift bag, white cardstock, a glue pen, and my CAMEO!! Besides my computer and printer that is all the supplies I used. Now how easy it that?? You can choose not to use the printer and use a stamp or your own hand writing for the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment!! I chose to use the Silhouette Cameo print and cut feature for the sentiment.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://media-cache-ec4.pinterest.com/originals/27/04/0d/27040dbbbb36da925dba70964e850327.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://media-cache-ec4.pinterest.com/originals/27/04/0d/27040dbbbb36da925dba70964e850327.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
This machine is amazing! Look at the crisp clean cuts it makes!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

One of my FAVORITE websites is <a href="http://www.birdscards.com/" target="_blank">Birds Cards</a> for free cutting files and digi stamps. I used the heart doily and the heart border file which you can download FREE from <a href="http://www.birdscards.com/be-mine/" target="_blank">HERE</a> . This is a FABULOUS website!!<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!!<br />

Here is the tutorial on how I made the flowers and leaves from yesterdays card. Here is the card again.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1i6NDt9GK5eBaBkj-1lGuXTLaDcHjwSz3_EDQ1E8QSI3W8CxeuJZHMhOqjpxnI2uKIhJFpOJ86TrSH_pC-XfwMPefEJ0hzIMIGAj-P5hUivXNrOhRpFeymRgPd_jcbMQti4if4LbnF9k/s1600/37.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1i6NDt9GK5eBaBkj-1lGuXTLaDcHjwSz3_EDQ1E8QSI3W8CxeuJZHMhOqjpxnI2uKIhJFpOJ86TrSH_pC-XfwMPefEJ0hzIMIGAj-P5hUivXNrOhRpFeymRgPd_jcbMQti4if4LbnF9k/s640/37.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
FLOWERS: used the scallop die from My Creative Time.<br />
<br />
Cut several scallop circles. You will need one scallop for each flower.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPfA5U-ohms3_EU0Z-AD-gLfAzFYWBgRF7aiBh3YJDBT1PxFa0XdJTYcRG11VdWcb7XGztjdk0ZLf_2w9k8O6-GZT8kF5eSahwDBqJR8XsPh7_kuCpGuD38poWZ_TXtphbrgCWBULpOqk/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPfA5U-ohms3_EU0Z-AD-gLfAzFYWBgRF7aiBh3YJDBT1PxFa0XdJTYcRG11VdWcb7XGztjdk0ZLf_2w9k8O6-GZT8kF5eSahwDBqJR8XsPh7_kuCpGuD38poWZ_TXtphbrgCWBULpOqk/s400/3.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Cut between every other scallop to the center. This will make it look like hearts. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDVKB-5lzmSzPe4KQpwVPCZ3h7uNXceCrd7r1FEb351pNRIKYHBDjinep3cOaHdwI5faJwqEgh2N7kEjn2vaor4RejUYnSUvZtlMfnDlcDYxrGtatgENeYxigXGzJAsT9K16uonFGPDsE/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDVKB-5lzmSzPe4KQpwVPCZ3h7uNXceCrd7r1FEb351pNRIKYHBDjinep3cOaHdwI5faJwqEgh2N7kEjn2vaor4RejUYnSUvZtlMfnDlcDYxrGtatgENeYxigXGzJAsT9K16uonFGPDsE/s400/4.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Now cut a little sliver off between each heart. You will see there is a little piece that needs to be cut. This makes them look like perfect hearts and give room between each heart to look more like individual petals. Now you can curl each heart under and add a center and you have a complete flower.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpIx1To53DQJOBXQZ1hBv0-M1AqSm4QPR8Cjd-z5bA3dsrbT_R4_x01sQKD3TSyu5CsyqNpVyQArXj4g_cN8cQ5z50PJJwBWPL01QMOhTK-Jhyphenhyphen5rSgXyIO3BY3c_naNFzamKkMpIBEGsY/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpIx1To53DQJOBXQZ1hBv0-M1AqSm4QPR8Cjd-z5bA3dsrbT_R4_x01sQKD3TSyu5CsyqNpVyQArXj4g_cN8cQ5z50PJJwBWPL01QMOhTK-Jhyphenhyphen5rSgXyIO3BY3c_naNFzamKkMpIBEGsY/s400/1.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
If you want more of a daisy flower you now cut each heart down the center. And then cut a sliver off each daisy petal so there is a bit of a gap between the petals. Curl the daisy petals under and add a center. These flowers are beautiful with the edges inked!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXj5hJT5FdfOsJdjfVRJSmDEgnC7VR-I3cEN4QHFWKL9oSuEr296S8hYMMFjEq-x-3Ww9WmjrM-wjvnWGnWrCnwLqsUdT4esF7YB9q10jwoakVFb0POTszW4SJ-QLnHEfgmMUlQa-49MY/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXj5hJT5FdfOsJdjfVRJSmDEgnC7VR-I3cEN4QHFWKL9oSuEr296S8hYMMFjEq-x-3Ww9WmjrM-wjvnWGnWrCnwLqsUdT4esF7YB9q10jwoakVFb0POTszW4SJ-QLnHEfgmMUlQa-49MY/s400/2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Here is a pic of the two bottom flowers curled under. I left the top one flat so you could see the difference.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
LEAVES: I used the curly label die from My Creative Time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGpaDngu8z2t0O_VC6MFF1E5BolE7Laq-iQ1jz6CFT73jbrybyPe6AG7eJCsf_O5C-EYZ_GUgiRWmu4EST_gV3o__SeLWoQSSecPILpH4xmeTB47ILvzvGpq7o08cAw7Y_mhdPHrLDYgI/s1600/7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGpaDngu8z2t0O_VC6MFF1E5BolE7Laq-iQ1jz6CFT73jbrybyPe6AG7eJCsf_O5C-EYZ_GUgiRWmu4EST_gV3o__SeLWoQSSecPILpH4xmeTB47ILvzvGpq7o08cAw7Y_mhdPHrLDYgI/s400/7.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Cut off both sides. You can discard the middle.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjelN2L7t2bOSeiXf1hRUGEMODEEBrlFuEJWp6W00u30atK7IE8Fiwgd1laxKjwzfgYezmGDN1juWAxiRWxLSA5ZR-RjnzM-_FcN2n1X56IbqNvV_Y7HLI8Sk8pD61AWncAtEJkXr-AHXI/s1600/8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjelN2L7t2bOSeiXf1hRUGEMODEEBrlFuEJWp6W00u30atK7IE8Fiwgd1laxKjwzfgYezmGDN1juWAxiRWxLSA5ZR-RjnzM-_FcN2n1X56IbqNvV_Y7HLI8Sk8pD61AWncAtEJkXr-AHXI/s400/8.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Now cut from the pointed corner to the middle just above the point on the opposite side. Do this on the top and bottom of the label for each side. One label will make 2 leaves.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKJMcou-xjzuQ-aj-Fso-3PWerHXqgpji22Dq8RyBwsFtG7QHEGlgZAB0pnRxxhFQyUUW69cA57FiODZQR17l6JO_ickL6JB4jh-77IuIcSyg2DtWLumYSZaeyZ5fWolUfNyCC2sHwJ8U/s1600/9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKJMcou-xjzuQ-aj-Fso-3PWerHXqgpji22Dq8RyBwsFtG7QHEGlgZAB0pnRxxhFQyUUW69cA57FiODZQR17l6JO_ickL6JB4jh-77IuIcSyg2DtWLumYSZaeyZ5fWolUfNyCC2sHwJ8U/s400/9.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Discard the middle and keep the top and bottom. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVHMm3KkPRtkpybQRaTt-4QYf-K7ppHeW1ZT61kg0ZyA1pFcbUUbhfkpBBIEJWwIYcei3YBTuaq9fiS-iML01UdP3ETOB7NPQzHSqq3ysaQeu6zUMzMbMAMxCc8p6ctTLhHiFQy-Tuf0Q/s1600/10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVHMm3KkPRtkpybQRaTt-4QYf-K7ppHeW1ZT61kg0ZyA1pFcbUUbhfkpBBIEJWwIYcei3YBTuaq9fiS-iML01UdP3ETOB7NPQzHSqq3ysaQeu6zUMzMbMAMxCc8p6ctTLhHiFQy-Tuf0Q/s400/10.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
This is what it looks like plain.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYlGslanjSz9J7FMNcXQGI12bCvnsQVh_E0IqfmCVbAVEBypfuyhEQRM480ln9OMliZVpaclllLA9x28TATGuTXkVFmpyMH-RlQSTG36VadIZ9FYRfmLld7sCU7nx-xGOV_-lZlhDit5Y/s1600/11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYlGslanjSz9J7FMNcXQGI12bCvnsQVh_E0IqfmCVbAVEBypfuyhEQRM480ln9OMliZVpaclllLA9x28TATGuTXkVFmpyMH-RlQSTG36VadIZ9FYRfmLld7sCU7nx-xGOV_-lZlhDit5Y/s400/11.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
And this is inked with Tim Holtz tea dye distressed ink. I LOVE the way it gives the look of a vein through the leave. Now when glueing your leaves together you want to concentrate on the tip. Make sure each tip meets. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihYUyK4pDaCxEIGrKxKpRX62MyEdKtraOyKxG4E3eQttJ1QikQq5kZoh0irrqoFbH0fiUHwQ0x9NFl4ascNWnJtFr6QE3D2tQOpLz6lVM-yL5u6XSzXWxKsIb05c7rRUUtxsiHyFY8Krk/s1600/12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihYUyK4pDaCxEIGrKxKpRX62MyEdKtraOyKxG4E3eQttJ1QikQq5kZoh0irrqoFbH0fiUHwQ0x9NFl4ascNWnJtFr6QE3D2tQOpLz6lVM-yL5u6XSzXWxKsIb05c7rRUUtxsiHyFY8Krk/s400/12.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Now use your fingers to shape the leaf. The bottom part is more of a base to glue under your flowers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I am so super proud of this card. I have been trying to look at my dies to see different ways to use them. You could also use this technique with your cricut cuts. I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial and if you have any questions, please feel free to email me or leave a comment!</div>

Sorry it has been so long since I posted. I have a card today I made for the challenge over at <a href="http://www.creativetimeforme.com/2012/10/designer-challenge-host-shar.html" target="_blank">My Creative Time.</a> I made these flowers and leaves from Emma's dies. I am so excited how this turned out. Now there is so much more I wanted to do to this card, but I wanted to keep it simple so you focus more on the flowers and leaves. I wasn't going to do the white gel pen stitching but I really couldn't help myself :) It really needed it. Here is my finished card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYCcmGcEP-SGo6dbUuOyt_-F4NeGyBgieYA1zp2sfWal2zSUGCTLdSGfsXF2lExdDx6XQsZId3VsBNJQmNbwzDPb4KOlZHJw2CXW0nQCs7kh_KkMnrAlKWgGEIKNE7RBMNKIR1noeVjhk/s1600/37.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYCcmGcEP-SGo6dbUuOyt_-F4NeGyBgieYA1zp2sfWal2zSUGCTLdSGfsXF2lExdDx6XQsZId3VsBNJQmNbwzDPb4KOlZHJw2CXW0nQCs7kh_KkMnrAlKWgGEIKNE7RBMNKIR1noeVjhk/s640/37.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
It is hard to see, but I stamped the flowers with a script stamp using versa mark ink. The pearls in the center of the flowers are from Martha Stewart. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQvFM2NuGMcwRbJNte_0qVIkTVJabV-NvlRyL_LsUWQStfIzRdohaBeIyoHZHjufhrsOqA8XKDWXWOPPEnOZHfPw3O4O9ZZq5acUS6E58SlMgy1mAG7tRwQRo6FxWMHF8MnxX5KpqB9WI/s1600/31.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQvFM2NuGMcwRbJNte_0qVIkTVJabV-NvlRyL_LsUWQStfIzRdohaBeIyoHZHjufhrsOqA8XKDWXWOPPEnOZHfPw3O4O9ZZq5acUS6E58SlMgy1mAG7tRwQRo6FxWMHF8MnxX5KpqB9WI/s400/31.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7VveFyhJlomAJrdkDg7ZC0Xal40WwznyMdqPq16rpEhyF0cE3MErAv72rOzYRaD0PuuweokuB_l8YERHaVFKCbO2eaXatGYHe-t0EEOSrrISRdzhqEvgP8N21bNEowwv_c9HtVCZwrLM/s1600/32.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7VveFyhJlomAJrdkDg7ZC0Xal40WwznyMdqPq16rpEhyF0cE3MErAv72rOzYRaD0PuuweokuB_l8YERHaVFKCbO2eaXatGYHe-t0EEOSrrISRdzhqEvgP8N21bNEowwv_c9HtVCZwrLM/s400/32.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Here is a closer look at the leaves. I used Tim Holtz Tea Dye distressed ink to ink around them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfwxUAQKGhLFGYCpSMIopxA1jgtKZgZ8fDKg8GWBJP2vG5ZOi_pexhDyBbwkOYTNMXwMGEUVyerb4FKjd-VI_c2Ce6-yRI0_mkcK7AfaMakbiPyBkdhV4ssouioJg80A7w_aGBFPyYu4s/s1600/33.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfwxUAQKGhLFGYCpSMIopxA1jgtKZgZ8fDKg8GWBJP2vG5ZOi_pexhDyBbwkOYTNMXwMGEUVyerb4FKjd-VI_c2Ce6-yRI0_mkcK7AfaMakbiPyBkdhV4ssouioJg80A7w_aGBFPyYu4s/s400/33.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Here is the card before I added the white gel pen stitching. The sentiment is also from My Creative Time 100% Sweetness set. I embossed it with white embossing powder.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I am here today to show you a card I made with a butterfly stamp and the BIC Mark-It Markers. Here is my finished card!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZHI9nuovCBVAbWy_8vlS_ITQ8VfSdbp2LN-0bfOd5SkSFo88iTZrT7iGDyWZqOufw6WM7MLd6m9kPaxERdwLnJHHJSp0gw_S6aPguwLrL6W-EGXts-CPJpbund2H1zHYkF2rhVSCUmNE/s1600/100.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZHI9nuovCBVAbWy_8vlS_ITQ8VfSdbp2LN-0bfOd5SkSFo88iTZrT7iGDyWZqOufw6WM7MLd6m9kPaxERdwLnJHHJSp0gw_S6aPguwLrL6W-EGXts-CPJpbund2H1zHYkF2rhVSCUmNE/s640/100.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
The butterfly is from Stampin Up called Stipple Butterfly. I stamped it with Stazon black ink on white cardstock twice. I used 4 BIC mark it markers for this butterfly. I colored the butterflies with 2 shades of blue and went over it with light yellow to give it detail. Some of the yellow turned green and it looks amazing!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6X5VWMRwzDlRGavRuA4cagK-cl28pMmxNpc1o_qoBrXf9wMe8KrAt_afaotID-2CB_sCAJrRAV6SYxDfDfO_BRgJe84daU73EWFF9ZzyfveIgNLLwFkfHfGiBG8JEiEX4Y-VPeiYs4pI/s1600/103.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6X5VWMRwzDlRGavRuA4cagK-cl28pMmxNpc1o_qoBrXf9wMe8KrAt_afaotID-2CB_sCAJrRAV6SYxDfDfO_BRgJe84daU73EWFF9ZzyfveIgNLLwFkfHfGiBG8JEiEX4Y-VPeiYs4pI/s640/103.jpg" width="478" /></a></div>
One of the butterflies I cut out and placed on top of the other to make it 3-D.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I picked up the Inkadinkado Stamping Gear Deluxe Kit over the weekend at ACMoore. I used my 55% off coupon and couldn't resist buying it. I must say I LOVE it. It is really amazing what you can create with one stamp. I was playing with it and LOVED the way this turned out so I made it into a Halloween card. I used ONE stamp and 3 different colors to achieve this fabulous look. Colors I used were: Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Stampin Up Orchid Opulence, and Stampin Up Only Orange. The sentiment is from Studio G.<br />
<br />

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been busy with back to school stuff and sports!! Now that my kids are going back to school, I will be posting more regularly. <br />
<br />
I have a project for you today that my child will be giving the teacher the first day of school. I will also be entering this project in several challenges (see bottom of post).<br />
<br />
I purchased this small journal yesterday at ACMoore for $1.00.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt6nYaX89lI3apP-8kUFXT_vDCtUOYorh0YwI_KyNtoH_ygFG9D977fFIAbgc23JFjiDBZXhaikwMDPm8Hba-06vqB66TZKysfFdnZpKNFA6_05581oAPilr6UuW2HHYr4QQMKyNO4tlg/s1600/1004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt6nYaX89lI3apP-8kUFXT_vDCtUOYorh0YwI_KyNtoH_ygFG9D977fFIAbgc23JFjiDBZXhaikwMDPm8Hba-06vqB66TZKysfFdnZpKNFA6_05581oAPilr6UuW2HHYr4QQMKyNO4tlg/s400/1004.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
All cuts are from Cricut cartridges (see bottom of post). I used my ATG gun and a glue pen to adhere all the cuts down. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilvwgqQMvIOUaZWv9ilVKX4sMVhNhahURIvr85DzBKlbsPBPfdDckaGxRcpEc4iuHGnf83t8L0u8rDR2_MBZlg5hjjw8J0SOrFR6LHxZKN1913rVY0bQCvxsLbRMQswou38xPg1q7Xb4g/s1600/1003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilvwgqQMvIOUaZWv9ilVKX4sMVhNhahURIvr85DzBKlbsPBPfdDckaGxRcpEc4iuHGnf83t8L0u8rDR2_MBZlg5hjjw8J0SOrFR6LHxZKN1913rVY0bQCvxsLbRMQswou38xPg1q7Xb4g/s400/1003.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
The sentiment "My Teacher Rocks" is from My Creative Time. The adorable face is from Peachy Keen Critter Faces Medium. I applied Glossy Accents to the glasses to make them look glossy. I also used my white gel pen to add white dots to the teachers name and apple.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJAQwx-08H8fjDMGzDuzuzm0Nn95bm99jFtLlBS85WPtXij7nTyXGeL92bY0mLDSNmI9yF8HCpJanX8QBMniyCwHQ5TSo_N2Nk_TvERyX6efLP-8158lDLsGPzZsj_4tW7KzRdoqzJnxs/s1600/1001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJAQwx-08H8fjDMGzDuzuzm0Nn95bm99jFtLlBS85WPtXij7nTyXGeL92bY0mLDSNmI9yF8HCpJanX8QBMniyCwHQ5TSo_N2Nk_TvERyX6efLP-8158lDLsGPzZsj_4tW7KzRdoqzJnxs/s400/1001.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
I also covered the pen with red and white twine. And tied a bow with the same twine. I used my ATG gun to adhere the twine to the pen.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix4jxm_V3YgZG7Rr-rB9OiaeyiDhuWuXbgDQgh-vcXQOBNY1jC4Ri3IZ-xSzV4f6_mdgSnUfYhteYBP2PD9sgI6ZZl6MQYuEddt4lM5IHbwHkC81t5Xi1MI09sWr4_fHeYQdanwhwBdIs/s1600/1002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix4jxm_V3YgZG7Rr-rB9OiaeyiDhuWuXbgDQgh-vcXQOBNY1jC4Ri3IZ-xSzV4f6_mdgSnUfYhteYBP2PD9sgI6ZZl6MQYuEddt4lM5IHbwHkC81t5Xi1MI09sWr4_fHeYQdanwhwBdIs/s400/1002.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<br />

I want to show you the card I made for a few of my favorite challenges. Here is my card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOaf3TacO17CEhMK0YejR9S0MSfOhK7dq-dSBQvTe0lZ5LMLmV5_bwp3uCp2KscKNtW8qwaDMpyNdz6xRrZI-RjsHf1JO3WaHCX6AOl2tMDNiMsxdz5Innk1_bWV9alAAaTK7ynK7sqfw/s1600/16.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOaf3TacO17CEhMK0YejR9S0MSfOhK7dq-dSBQvTe0lZ5LMLmV5_bwp3uCp2KscKNtW8qwaDMpyNdz6xRrZI-RjsHf1JO3WaHCX6AOl2tMDNiMsxdz5Innk1_bWV9alAAaTK7ynK7sqfw/s400/16.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
Here is a view of the card laying down. If you can believe it, everything on this card was cut out of a white/cream cardstock (except the kraft paper).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH8TL7KNE3ZiweQhLyPv7cYHJtxTiZXWrHhtJH3c_c16vRcUPrMqgMSLVaTuZRD2GdiP9mo2e7YbXCyLMtSEHKm-SCK9gkn16FNMUuYZHJKIH0F4IpowuEywMkUSl5BGpkfSBTXBl8drQ/s1600/10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH8TL7KNE3ZiweQhLyPv7cYHJtxTiZXWrHhtJH3c_c16vRcUPrMqgMSLVaTuZRD2GdiP9mo2e7YbXCyLMtSEHKm-SCK9gkn16FNMUuYZHJKIH0F4IpowuEywMkUSl5BGpkfSBTXBl8drQ/s400/10.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
I cut the star letters from the Cricut Alphabet cartridge on my E2 machine at 1.25" out of white and colored them with Stampin Up Concord Crush marker. The student font is from the Cursive 101 Cricut cartridge. I used my gypsy to weld and stretch the word. The small stars were punched with a star punch and I used Stampin Up Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait ink pads and a sponge dauber to ink them. And I added a gem in the middle. The sheer ribbon is 1.5". I glued the Star letters under the ribbon and glued the student letters on top of the ribbon. I LOVE this look!! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6vsMA1M6_W-H23OmQOI0renoMrQ_BWQ7StoAbgtUy2YBuq1xFCCA3vVYwIeEoxc8ynAl53jfsGOakIFK4MqFeguvGZuMhMDdBEXSOoroZZzVrTAbewblbp-Z_HrS5sVGJnXS3AZhLs2s/s1600/13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6vsMA1M6_W-H23OmQOI0renoMrQ_BWQ7StoAbgtUy2YBuq1xFCCA3vVYwIeEoxc8ynAl53jfsGOakIFK4MqFeguvGZuMhMDdBEXSOoroZZzVrTAbewblbp-Z_HrS5sVGJnXS3AZhLs2s/s400/13.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
I also punched the larger stars from a punch using the white/cream cardstock . I used the stampin up 3 colors to stamp the Peachy Keen Faces. I chose the Snowmany Faces assortment set 3/4" size. I also used the ink pads and sponge daubers to get the colors on the stars.<br />

I have been a HUGE fan of StampTV and watch the videos on youtube. LOVE the videos! This is my first time participating in their challenge and I am so excited! The challenge is to Make it a Double. Use one stamp as a focal point and a background. You can find the challenge <a href="http://stamptv.ning.com/forum/topics/mix-it-up-monday-stv12mon28-make-it-a-double" target="_blank">HERE</a>. Here is the card I made:<br />

I stamped the daffodil image from the Sending Sunshine stamp set from GinaK designs once on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This is the image that I colored with my Stampin Up Watercolor pencils and blender pens. It was then cut and embossed with a Spellbinder Nestabililies rectangle die. I also stamped this image several times making a border on another piece of white cardstock as my background. This was stamped using Stampin Up YOYO Yellow ink pad. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFM-H9SYvV4Wk7CBWV0MDklWqOeVJ-UH9o-Qgl1dkutGyIs82A-bio-9WUzo-ZWpZT7JrOTzrLMvOouYTcsRiQvw0at5PooG7VupFlF2FnbJ86ffyFm6RlXLKPNt2Ou2X2OXR8Lxkh_14/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFM-H9SYvV4Wk7CBWV0MDklWqOeVJ-UH9o-Qgl1dkutGyIs82A-bio-9WUzo-ZWpZT7JrOTzrLMvOouYTcsRiQvw0at5PooG7VupFlF2FnbJ86ffyFm6RlXLKPNt2Ou2X2OXR8Lxkh_14/s400/2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
I matted both pieces of white cardstock onto black cardstock and then added some black and white twine and a black button.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCIXTiLP8IEYJjGKx93FtlqgiDVp5I8f64ZzG7jPWaZov66XGv1TPBXH0dj2GurXo1BaaPc7ZVLAhK4e8da9EdwuQ1o0LWx8qYQPmiWLgKMcoGOW399ZG11RduqQ-ySHMmx7Eee_yJbVA/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCIXTiLP8IEYJjGKx93FtlqgiDVp5I8f64ZzG7jPWaZov66XGv1TPBXH0dj2GurXo1BaaPc7ZVLAhK4e8da9EdwuQ1o0LWx8qYQPmiWLgKMcoGOW399ZG11RduqQ-ySHMmx7Eee_yJbVA/s400/3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
The sentiment is also from the Sending Sunshine stamp set. <br />

I have a card I made for two of my favorite challenges - <a href="http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2012/07/peachy-challenge-28-anything-goes.html" target="_blank">Peachy Keen Stamps</a> and <a href="http://cardztv.blogspot.com/2012/07/ctv-dt-challenge-12.html" target="_blank">Cardz TV</a>!! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4_Ih9m8cmxwQb-VeEChzn9U-1JSWqu4ea1L83ifTySQy1Shb4rkOeXEdrCS3_saojIia9F2P7h46pCSK8BgWU_EG430HPYkaQS6ko9NOs4TyZ6PJ_uw1wU9MoUOsqPSDUeFXsE_82_kI/s1600/6001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4_Ih9m8cmxwQb-VeEChzn9U-1JSWqu4ea1L83ifTySQy1Shb4rkOeXEdrCS3_saojIia9F2P7h46pCSK8BgWU_EG430HPYkaQS6ko9NOs4TyZ6PJ_uw1wU9MoUOsqPSDUeFXsE_82_kI/s400/6001.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
I cut the rainbow and clouds from the Cricut Once Upon A Princess cartridge. I sniped off the stars and used the rainbow as a base for my twine. I ran the rainbow through my xyron and added the twine. I did grab the wrong blue from my drawer. I used the darker blue with the kraft instead of the light blue and white. I added 3 pink buttons to the side and adhered pink twine around the card. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I usde pop dots for the clouds and rainbow.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPMKOVqM5GZ74R5H3qDEG9OI9Eg-JoOC2b-C8JKHweF8eIbirItwq4ZujIN8ruKasKvMBSFo5KjsgEmfvrNozTlORamzHhQwiJ4LmOHXVKE4s7w57ddkudHS0xbWKNBseMfQXN8zstM6o/s1600/6000.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPMKOVqM5GZ74R5H3qDEG9OI9Eg-JoOC2b-C8JKHweF8eIbirItwq4ZujIN8ruKasKvMBSFo5KjsgEmfvrNozTlORamzHhQwiJ4LmOHXVKE4s7w57ddkudHS0xbWKNBseMfQXN8zstM6o/s400/6000.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
Look at those adorable Peachy Keen faces. These faces are from the Princess Assortment Faces size 1". I stamped them using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.<br />

I made this cute snowman card for the Christmas in July Challenge over at <a href="http://cardztv.blogspot.com/2012/07/christmas-in-july-challenge-and-another.html" target="_blank">Cardz TV.</a> I cut the snowman from the Gypsy Wandering cartridge and used the hide contour feature to hide his face and the design in the bottom left hand corner on him. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6aBwYBXkPYHrmtoFEs0XWz_IiE8h032gBBMMsWHJJy-ToAG6ihs9IZC7RhYOMiJUETxqpqRUTgvKTR_9VlMJaKtZOnrTMkjdg4_5jszBDgZIdwMoiiLOE0q8IaKORTxaA1fWZ-4BHqOI/s1600/4001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6aBwYBXkPYHrmtoFEs0XWz_IiE8h032gBBMMsWHJJy-ToAG6ihs9IZC7RhYOMiJUETxqpqRUTgvKTR_9VlMJaKtZOnrTMkjdg4_5jszBDgZIdwMoiiLOE0q8IaKORTxaA1fWZ-4BHqOI/s400/4001.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
The sentiment is from Close to my Heart Christmas Scripts C1209. I used the $1 Recollections snowflake punch from Michael's to punch beside the sentiment. I inked around the punched snowflakes with Stampin Up Buckaroo Blue ink and a finger dauber.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgft8AC4wEr9z68LLG53vykOdDchgWaInDJ4_DNVHcOuJU_JUlmgBhIfGbOi5X11mzCbFbeAxyT75x86htEPapTin-40GFpee5x7JD9l5O90ms-kRlydWOAvycb94EcIC0CF1GdBL_7ylk/s1600/4002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgft8AC4wEr9z68LLG53vykOdDchgWaInDJ4_DNVHcOuJU_JUlmgBhIfGbOi5X11mzCbFbeAxyT75x86htEPapTin-40GFpee5x7JD9l5O90ms-kRlydWOAvycb94EcIC0CF1GdBL_7ylk/s400/4002.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I used Studio G glitter for the scarf and hat. I used one of the snowflakes that I punch beside the sentiment on his hat and added a rhinestone to the center. I have created this cute little gift bag for my daughter for when school starts again. It is only about a month away and I am starting to think about teacher gifts and cards. This <a href="http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2012/07/peachy-challenge-26-gift-bags.html" target="_blank">Peachy Keen Challenge</a> is a great way to start my back to school crafting!! The challenge is to stamp a gift bag.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkj_2x6rapYnUDrs02aMvYTyvz8IAFJg6R5fjaN3YJ3M5_m2EDzTM-YbLkeoENByOzw0Dv0eHUAOdN9274tT5yePAVHW3px3Ql9hzxPikWaNMo6KIHpIm2YL0CK6cv01ld5ELtEXdpTtk/s1600/1002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkj_2x6rapYnUDrs02aMvYTyvz8IAFJg6R5fjaN3YJ3M5_m2EDzTM-YbLkeoENByOzw0Dv0eHUAOdN9274tT5yePAVHW3px3Ql9hzxPikWaNMo6KIHpIm2YL0CK6cv01ld5ELtEXdpTtk/s400/1002.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
Look how cute that Peachy Keen face is! I stamped the Princess face 1 1/8" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut the little girls hair out of white cardstock and used Stampin Up Creamy Carmel ink to make it look like red hair.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqrcXVS3-kagMdkxGSgQq-deKUXxQQzT_B3stmSvs8vif1YGFbVsh15v9p9tKIGpyAyEA9n7I8wICikxCk0Fv9rQ_HI9XG245vKHWgdQP6xOG3TPh65hzwIyo-YzE4nImGDFQJGxb6kVY/s1600/1000.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqrcXVS3-kagMdkxGSgQq-deKUXxQQzT_B3stmSvs8vif1YGFbVsh15v9p9tKIGpyAyEA9n7I8wICikxCk0Fv9rQ_HI9XG245vKHWgdQP6xOG3TPh65hzwIyo-YzE4nImGDFQJGxb6kVY/s400/1000.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>

I saw a technique for the sun on Stamp TV on youtube. This is a video you won't want to miss. Click <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly2KRs0bbIA" target="_blank">HERE</a> for the video. I used chalk and the applicator that came with the chalk. Oh my goodness I LOVE how this sun came out. Now this is my first attemp at this technique. It is so easy.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8vVuFEo9L0X_fX1HJwcjnCcgeua6qq3LXz8jLrOC_z2w5wWlftKqD18X8lB9LiSSvP3AN4rEpcCKR04k9BNLpppyrAZlWSpC_3xBjmYd22uu0jvyaPnCV3fy7fQ5icrXS3NNwk1BsKls/s1600/703.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" sca="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8vVuFEo9L0X_fX1HJwcjnCcgeua6qq3LXz8jLrOC_z2w5wWlftKqD18X8lB9LiSSvP3AN4rEpcCKR04k9BNLpppyrAZlWSpC_3xBjmYd22uu0jvyaPnCV3fy7fQ5icrXS3NNwk1BsKls/s400/703.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>

Here is a look at my sun in progress. I did all the way around the paper (4" x 5 1/2"). Then I decided to cut it down and mat it on a card. After I did all the rays, I went back with the same color and made circular motions in the center for the sun. The sun and rays were made with the same tool and same color. This is such a fabulous technique!!<br />

I wanted to share a card with you that I made with my gypsy. I LOVE the Gypsy Made Simple videos Shelia from She's a Sassy Lady does. And I am sooo excited to participate in this weeks Gypsy Made Simple challenge to make a 3 fold card. <a href="http://shesasassylady.blogspot.com/2012/06/gypsy-made-simple-3-fold-card-puppy.html" target="_blank">HERE</a> is the link to the video and challenge. Here is the card I made. I made this card from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge using basic shapes from the liner tab. I welded the basic shapes together to make a template card. Then I added the sentiment and party hat and welded them to the card template. The card was cut out of brown cardstock. Then I cut the layers out of Scenic Route paper.<br />
<br />
<br />
