Just Because I LOVE YOU Card for PK Challenge

Hi Everyone!!  I made this adorable card for the Peachy Keen Challenge.  This week was a sketch challenge and here is the sketch.

Here is the card I made:

Look at that adorable Peachy Keen face!!  I used the Everyday Character face assortment size 1 3/8" and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I added freckles with my Martha Steward black pen and chalked the cheeks with Pebbles Shimmer chalk.   For the flower, I used my Spellbinder Nestabilities petite scallop and the circle dies.
The patterned paper is from Colorbok and is the Spring Morning pad.   The sentiment is from Close to my Heart Say it in Style D1283.  The "I LOVE YOU" stamp is from my stash.  I used 3 pink flower brads.  The leaves and stem of the flower were cut by hand.
I am giving this card to my teenage daughter simply just because I love her!  I hope she will like it!

Snowman Card ~ Christmas in JULY Cardz TV Challenge

Hi Everyone!!  I made this cute snowman card for the Christmas in July Challenge over at Cardz TV.     I cut the snowman from the Gypsy Wandering cartridge and used the hide contour feature to hide his face and the design in the bottom left hand corner on him.

The sentiment is from Close to my Heart Christmas Scripts C1209.   I used the $1 Recollections snowflake punch from Michael's to punch beside the sentiment.   I inked around the punched snowflakes with Stampin Up Buckaroo Blue ink and a finger dauber.

I used Studio G glitter for the scarf and hat.  I used one of the snowflakes that I punch beside the sentiment on his hat and added a rhinestone to the center.  I used a black marker and my white gel pen to draw his buttons.  The adorable face is from Peachy Keen Snowmany Face Assortment 1/2" size.

I am really happy how this card turned out and cannot wait until cooler weather gets here!!

Gift Bag for PK Challenge

Hi Everyone!  I have created this cute little gift bag for my daughter for when school starts again.  It is only about a month away and I am starting to think about teacher gifts and cards.  This Peachy Keen Challenge is a great way to start my back to school crafting!!  The challenge is to stamp a gift bag.

Look how cute that Peachy Keen face is!  I stamped the Princess face 1 1/8" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I cut the little girls hair out of white cardstock and used Stampin Up Creamy Carmel ink to make it look like red hair.
I stamped the background of the bag with My Creative Time "My Teacher Rocks" stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Supplies:
  White gift bag
White, black, purple paper from my stash
My Creative Time My Teacher Rocks stamp set
Peachy Keen Princess Faces 1 1/8"
Stampin Up Creamy Carmel ink pad

Peachy Keen Chalk It Up Card Challenge

Hi Everyone!!  I am sooo super excited to show you this card I made for the Peachy Keen Challenge.  I LOVE this card!!!

I saw a technique for the sun on Stamp TV on youtube.  This is a video you won't want to miss.  Click HERE for the video.  I used chalk and the applicator that came with the chalk.  Oh my goodness I LOVE how this sun came out.  Now this is my first attemp at this technique.  It is so easy.
And a fabulous Peachy Keen face!!  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Close t my Heart.
I used black and white checkered ribbon from my stash.
Here is a look at my sun in progress.  I did all the way around the paper (4" x 5 1/2").  Then I decided to cut it down and mat it on a card.  After I did all the rays, I went back with the same color and made circular motions in the center for the sun.  The sun and rays were made with the same tool and same color.  This is such a fabulous technique!!

Here is the Pebbles chalk sets I used.  I used the classic chalk for the sun and used the pearl metallic chalk for the pink checks and a light yellow color accross the entire card for a shimmer affect.
Supplies:

  Black cardstock
Yellow and white polka dot paper
  White cardstock
  Pebbles chalk sets
Close to my Heart Happy Birthday Stamp set
Peachy Keen Happy Lashes Face Stamps 1 1/8"
  Black Memento Ink Pad

Tri-Fold Card ~ Happy Birthday~

Hi Everyone!!  I wanted to share a card with you that I made with my gypsy.  I LOVE the Gypsy Made Simple videos Shelia from She's a Sassy Lady does.  And I am sooo excited to participate in this weeks Gypsy Made Simple challenge to make a 3 fold card.  HERE is the link to the video and challenge.  Here is the card I made.  I made this card from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge using basic shapes from the liner tab.  I welded the basic shapes together to make a template card.  Then I added the sentiment and party hat and welded them to the card template.  The card was cut out of brown cardstock.  Then I cut the layers out of Scenic Route paper.

I cut the party hat from the Cricut Celebrations cartridge at 5.75" x 3.50".
Here is the card opened.  I am going to add some white cardstock so I can write my message.
The Happy Birthday sentiment was cut from the Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art Cricut cartridge at 4' x 3.5'.
I absolutely LOVED doing this tri-fold card!!  I cannot wait to make another one!!

Supplies:

Brown cardstock
Scenic Route Paper- Grafton Collection (double sided)

Organizing with Stampin Up stamp containers ~ ADHESIVE

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I am back to show you another storage idea for adhesive with the Stampin Up stamp containers.  I am using the clear containers that the wooden stamps come in from Stampin Up.  I am using the ones that measure 4 1/4' x 5 1/4' in size.  I am also using the 4 drawer Jetmax white cube I got from Michaels.
Here is the drawer with 15 containers inside.  WOW!!  I had all this adhesive in original packages in the drawer and with the packages this stuff took up the whole drawer.   After combining the adhesive in the Stampin Up containers, you can see how much room I have left.  I was amazed!!  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how I can open the drawer and see exactly what is in what container.
I have different sizes of double sided sticky tape and glue dots in each container.  I wrote the size of the double sided sticky tape on the inside of the rolls with black sharpy so I know what size I am using.
These are miscellaneous foam dots and squares.  I love the fact that all sizes are in one container.  I put the container on my desk when doing projects and it saves time not hunting for the different sizes!
I am in LOVE with these container.  And I love how they fit in the cubes!

You can see my post on how I stored my BUTTONS  in these containers HERE
