Hi Everyone!! Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been busy with back to school stuff and sports!! Now that my kids are going back to school, I will be posting more regularly.
I have a project for you today that my child will be giving the teacher the first day of school. I will also be entering this project in several challenges (see bottom of post).
I purchased this small journal yesterday at ACMoore for $1.00.
All cuts are from Cricut cartridges (see bottom of post). I used my ATG gun and a glue pen to adhere all the cuts down.
The sentiment "My Teacher Rocks" is from My Creative Time. The adorable face is from Peachy Keen Critter Faces Medium. I applied Glossy Accents to the glasses to make them look glossy. I also used my white gel pen to add white dots to the teachers name and apple.
I also covered the pen with red and white twine. And tied a bow with the same twine. I used my ATG gun to adhere the twine to the pen.
I am so happy with how this turned out. You know I have seen this apple and worm so many time and this is the first time I have cut it out! I really need to use my carts more!! LOL
Cricut Cartridges:
Recess - Apple
Create A Critter - Worm
Sesame Street Font - Sunny Days Font
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Peachy Keen - Anything Goes
Really Reasonable Ribbon- Back To School
Fantabulous Cricut Crawl- Back to school (use school supplies)
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!

Baby's First Birthday
Hi Everyone! I wanted to share with you decorations from my baby girls first birthday using my cricut and Peachy Keen face stamps. I had so much fun making these decorations. I LOVE the way this cake turned out!
I punched 2 flowers and 1 circle for each cupcake and glued the toothpick between the 2 punched flowers. It was super easy.
I got these blowers at the Dollar Tree and ripped off the original decoration and glued on my flower.
I found this craft paper also at the Dollar Tree. I wrapped up the presents and used light pink sheer ribbon (also from Dollar Tree) for the smaller tube packages. I used light pink tule for the bow on the large package.
Recipe:
Peachy Keen Basic Paper Doll Face stamps
pink tule
sheer pink ribbon (Dollar Tree)
brown/chocolate grograin ribbon from my stash
LargeFlower punch from creative memories
Circle punch (for center of flower)
chocolate chip ink pad from Stampin Up
Cricut Cartridges:
MS Elegant Cake Art (Font)
Storybook (label)
Create A Critter (leaves)
Thanks for stoppy by and happy crafting!!!

Thanksgiving Turkey Card
Hi Everyone!! I made this card for the Creative Cutter Room Challenge and the E.A.D Designs Color Challenge. I am really happy with how it turned out. I originally wanted to stamp "Thankful For...." or "Happy Thanksgiving" but the turkey was too tall and the hat over ran the sentiment. Oh well, I will stamp it on the inside :)
Recipe:
Orange Cardstock
Brown Cardstock
Thanksgiving Pattern Paper (DCWV Fall Stack 2)
White Gel Pen
Pop Dots
Cricut Cartridge:
